ChatGPT is now available in Microsoft Word. You can draft from notes, summarize a document, revise selected text, and adjust headings and formatting from the ChatGPT sidebar. Word joins Excel and PowerPoint through the same Microsoft add-in.
ChatGPT for Word is available on all ChatGPT plans, including Free. Your plan’s token limits apply, and Word draws from the shared usage allowance for Codex and other premium features on plans that include it.
