Our methodology

How we track Claude Code releases and keep this site accurate.

Where our data comes from

Every release on our changelog is synced directly from the official Claude Code CHANGELOG.md in Anthropic's public GitHub repository. We poll it frequently so new versions appear within minutes of being published.

How summaries are written

For each release we generate a short, plain-language summary of what was added, fixed, and improved, so you can scan a version in seconds. Summaries are a convenience — the official changelog entry is always the source of truth, and we link to it.

How our guides are written

Our guides and glossary describe Claude Code concepts in plain English. We aim to be accurate and point to the official Claude Code documentation for exact commands, flags, and configuration. When Claude Code changes, we update the affected pages.

Corrections

We're an independent project and we get things wrong sometimes. If you spot an error, let us know and we'll fix it. See our editorial policy for more.
