Exciting new features include the creation and sharing of personalized sticker packs from ideas or photos, now available globally on mobile devices. iPhone users gain improved convenience with live voice conversation content visibility directly on their Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. For desktop users, new capabilities involve the use of website tools directly within the built-in browser and expanded browser extension support across Edge, Brave, Opera, and Vivaldi, enhancing productivity and context awareness. Additional improvements include clearer pronunciation help with phonetic breakdowns and audio playback.

  • Start with a prompt or template. Ask ChatGPT to make a sticker pack, or choose a sticker template from the home screen or Images.
  • Share your stickers in messaging apps. Download your pack or add it to iMessage or WhatsApp on supported devices.
  • See Live voice content on your Lock Screen
  • Content from a Live voice conversation can now appear on your iPhone’s Lock Screen and, on iPhones with Dynamic Island, in the Dynamic Island.
  • Follow along outside the app. Live Activities can show content from your voice conversation while you use another app or your phone is locked.
  • To continue a Voice conversation outside ChatGPT, turn on Background conversations in Settings → Voice.

  • Use website tools in the desktop browser
  • ChatGPT Work and Codex can now use tools that supported websites provide directly in the desktop app’s built-in browser.
  • Work directly with a website’s tools. ChatGPT can discover tools for your task without a separate connection. Select the arrow in the address bar to see the tools a page provides.
  • Site tools use WebMCP and require a supported account, model, and webpage. They are available in the built-in desktop browser, not through the Chrome extension. Existing website-access and sensitive-action confirmations still apply.

  • The ChatGPT browser extension now supports Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, and Vivaldi.
  • Bring your browser into Work and Codex. Mention open tabs to use them as context, or ask ChatGPT to complete a browser task from the desktop app.
  • Side chat is available in Edge, Brave, and Vivaldi. Opera supports tab mentions and browser control, but not side chat. Update the desktop app before setup; availability depends on your workspace settings.
